Sipping a traditional Moscow Mule from this unique, vintage-designed copper mug is reminiscent of the famous beverage’s origin back in the early forties, when the concoction of ginger beer and vodka was merely an experiment.

Though antique, the mugs have never been used before. The mugs are produced by our team at Copper Mug Co., and after the mugs are welded and hammered, they are coated with a food-grade lacquer that gives the mugs a worn, vintage finish. They are fully functional and ready to be enjoyed, whether with an original Moscow Mule or the libation of your choice. While these unique mugs aren’t available for bulk ordering, they make for wonderful gifts – especially for collectors.

Our old-fashioned copper mugs are made of 100% pure copper, just like many of our other copper mug styles. Their unique lacquer finish is what truly sets them apart from our other offerings, and while the finish gives the mug a dated appeal, it’s FDA-approved and safe for serving beverages. The mug handles are welded to ensure long-term functionality and to prevent any possible leaking.

Care Instructions

Copper naturally reacts with air, moisture, and the liquids it comes into contact with. This process, known as oxidation, will cause tarnishing that appears as dark spots, black marks or discoloration.

Because our items are handcrafted, you may also notice slight variations or imperfections in the finish. These are a natural result of the handmade process and part of what makes each piece unique.

Do not place copper in the dishwasher or microwave. Do not use with hot liquids.

Clean copper products with mild dish soap and warm water, then dry thoroughly using a soft cloth. To remove tarnish, use a Metal Cleaner intended for copper. For additional details, visit our Care Page.

Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING: In-stock items ship within 1-2 business days via UPS or USPS. UPS and USPS typically deliver within 3–5 business days using ground service but varies depending on location. Please note that UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Processing times may be extended during periods of high volume.

RETURNS: Our products are handcrafted. Natural properties of copper including minor variations in the copper and oxidation from exposure to liquids, heat, or acidity are normal and not considered defects. These characteristics are not eligible for return.

If you receive an item with a significant defect, please contact us with photos so we can review and address the issue.
