What is the difference in the engraving between made-to-order and in-stock mugs?
Made-to-order mugs are engraved during the production of the mug using a chemical etching process. The engraving is molded into the surface of the mug. In-stock mugs are engraved using a diamond tip engraving machine. With a machine the engraving is etched into the very top surface of the mug.
How are hammered mugs engraved?
Made-to-order hammered mugs are first made with a smooth surface. The logo or design is applied during the production of the mug. The mug are then hammered around the engraving so the two don’t overlap. In-stock mugs are engraved over the hammered finish using a machine engraving process.
Can you engrave Mini-shots?
We can engrave initials and date or a small emblem on Mini-shots. For weddings, our complementary designs can be altered to fit.
Will I see a proof of my design?
Upon request, we offer up to two digital proofs. Digital proofs provide you with a general idea of what your logo looks like on the product. It is important to note that virtual proofs are not intended to be exact representations of how your logo will appear but more of a general approximation of the relative location, size and appearance of an engraving.
If you need help with a design/logo, we offer design services for an additional fee to develop a custom design or logo.

How do I purchase in-stock items without an engraving?

How are the items packaged?
How much is shipping?
We ship from our warehouse in Denver, CO to US and Canada locations. For locations in the US on the West Coast and in the Mid-west, estimate $1.20 additional per mug/cup for shipping. For locations on the East Coast, estimate $1.40 additional per mug/cup. These estimates may be high for some locations. For Canada, prices vary. For accurate shipping costs, please email us the delivery zip code and quantity.
What if there is an issue with my order?
Each item is handmade and made to order in our production facility in India. Due to the nature of handcrafts, there may be slight variations between items. We recommend reviewing your order when it is received for any errors or items that may have been damaged during shipping. If there are any issues with your order, we ask that you notify us within 30 days of receiving your order. We do not accept returns of customized items but we will replaced items deemed defective or damaged.
How do I care for my items?
Copper is naturally a delicate metal and hand washing is always recommended. For additional information on caring for copper, please refer to our care page.
