When blogger, Raquel Ringgold, reached out to us to partner with us on a recipe blog – we were stoked! Raquel is a teen style blogger over at her own blog ( www.omnivogues.com ) and is the reigning Teen Miss of America! If that’s not impressive enough, Raquel is also a model that has been gracing the runways of New York Fashion week and even featured as a style expert on FOX television as well as The Rachael Ray Show. I don’t know how someone at her age finds time to stay healthy through her busy schedule and many accomplishments – but I’m sure smoothies like this recipe she created in our Copper Pineapple, help! This is our first non-alcoholic recipe post (yay! because we need to stay healthy for our booze lovin bodies) but we also adapted an alternate version for our 21 and up folks!
You might not be aware of this but copper boasts MANY health benefits – future posts to come on this… but some of them include anti-aging benefits, beautifying skin, weight loss assistance as well as digestion improvement. The Copper Pineapple is not only pretty to look at but the perfect vessel to hold your healthy beverages too.
